Account deletion

You can delete your Amiora account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how and what happens next.

How to delete your account

By email. Write to [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to confirm your identity before we proceed, so that no one else can delete your account.

In the app. In-app self-service deletion is being added. Once it ships you will be able to delete your account directly from the app’s settings; until then, please use the email route above.

What gets deleted

We delete or anonymise the personal data tied to your account — including your profile, your saved learning content, your practice and progress history, and your conversation text. Deletion also reaches copies held by our processors and is applied to routine backups on a defined schedule.

What we may keep

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it — for example, records needed for tax, accounting, or to resolve a dispute. Anything retained is kept only for as long as necessary and is protected accordingly.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription bought through an app store. Cancel the subscription in your app-store account to stop future charges.
